3 legs of our Irish Champion Stakes Series have taken place so far at the Irish American Weekend, the Richard Phelan Memorial Weekend and in Annaghmore Raceway last weekend. The next leg of the series is due to be held at the Red John Memorial weekend in August. The rest of the series will take place on the following dates:
15th of September- DAFM Development Series-
5th/6th of September- Gerry Keenan & Jack Galways Memorial Weekend
20th of October- DAFM Development Series & IHRA Oaks & Derby
DAFM Development Series:
The IHRA are excited to present the DAFM Development series for Juvenile pacers. This will take place on the 15th of September and the 20th of October with €15,000 going towards prizemoney along with the stakes fund for the Irish Champion Stakes Series. There is also €5,000 worth of breeders prizes for the breeders of the winning horses of these races (once the breeder resides on the island of Ireland).

HSI Breeding Grant:
We are delighted to be receiving the HSI Breeding Grant for the second year. This grant will partially fund 6 mare’s races and the 3 year old Oaks and Derby with breeders prizes also being awarded to the breeders of the winning horses (once the breeder resides on the island of Ireland).
