The next Trotteur Francais Sale takes place the week commencing November 23rd, this will be the only sale until late 2016 and all interested parties are asked the submit their details and payments by November 13th.
With this program now firmly established Ireland has made rapid progress in a very short period of time with Trotting races accounting for close to 50% of the overall total at the premier venue and a total prize money purse in excess of €220, 000 on a national basis.
The top Trotteur Francais horse in 2015 has earned just over €9,000 in prize money with the top 8 all in excess of €5k, the top 24 in excess of €4k, the top 36 in excess of €3k and the top 48 in excess of €2k.
2016 looks likely to make some further major developments in terms of increased prize money on offer and racing on the all weather under floodlights at Dundalk Stadium with the penultimate break through expected in early 2017.
