The IHRA are actively seeking members to join of our 3 subcommittees for important upcoming events this year. There are currently 3-4 vacancies on each committee. If you feel you could be of any assistance and have something to offer on any committee, please forward your name, contact details and which committee you would like to join to studbook@irishharnessracing.com by close of business on the 13th of February. The committees will be formed on a first come first served basis. The committees and tasks involved are as follows:
UET European Apprentice Championships:
- Assist with formulation of itinerary for event participants and delegates
- Assist with event promotion
- Assist with organisation of prizes and associated items
Irish Champion Stakes Series:
- Assist with event promotion
- Assist with organisation of prizes (rugs, trophies etc) and associated items
- Assist with enhancement of race day experience for competitors & spectators
Annual Awards:
- Assist with identification & selection of suitable dates
- Assist with organisation of venue, menu, entertainment, etc.
- Assist with preparation of any visuals/supporting media required on the night (e.g. slideshow/photographs etc.)
- Assist with selection of and sourcing of awards & presentations
