Irish Harness Racing Association CLG participated in the enhanced DNA parentage
verification using the advanced SNP testing technology (Single Nucleotide
Polymorphism) with Weatherbys Scientific in 2025. A total of 84 samples were
processed using SNP with all samples being fully parentally verified to both Sire &
Dam, improving integrity, accuracy of pedigree and traceability within the Irish
Harness Racing Association Studbooks.
