With regret we learn of the untimely passing of Bernadette Kelly

Bernie has given a lifetime service to Harness Racing in Ireland acting in numerous roles amongst the various organisations and committee’s that have transcended our sport over the years, the Irish Harness Racing Club / STAGBI, Irish Standardbred Association, Whitehouse Raceway, Collon Raceway Development, Standardbred Horse Racing Ireland, Vincent Delaney Memorial Committee and Portmarnock Raceway.
She represented Ireland at World Trotting Conference’s on a number of occasions most recently in Paris in 2013. She worked diligently over the years for the betterment of our sport, whether on race day or at her former home in Mulhuddert in west Dublin or at social gatherings Bernie was always on call and available to deal with a myriad of equine and sporting matters and had a vision of where and how our sport needed to progress.
We would like to extend our sincere sympathies to her husband Paul, sons Paul, Aaron & Lee her daughter Grace and their extended families.
