Following a considerable struggle in the last 24 to 48 hours the Committee of SHRI are now in a position to field a race card for next Sunday at Portrmarnock. We urgently need the support of all horse owners in terms of a supply of available horses to race, financial and moral support. Members of the Committee are not in a position to devote the amount of hours now required to get the basics done, like others they have jobs to attend to and business to run.
If matters dont improve in the short term the consequences are inevitible as we are at a critical junction. From next week onwards entries MUST be with the Secretary on Tuesday by 6.00pm at the latest, after which a decision will be announced on Wednesday morning if insufficent entries are available to justify racing
