With regret we learn of the passing of Michael Loughran Belmont Carlingford Co Louth
Beloved husband of the late Ann and dad of Michael, Damien, Tony, Sandra, Robert, David, Astrid, Shane, Philip, Martin and the late Jonathan.
We would like to extend our sympathy to his sons, daughters and their extended families at this sad time.
Michael was a lifelong supporter of trotting, buying selling and racing, he rarely missed a race meeting and it would be fair to say that one of the outstanding moments over that career came in September 2016 when he stood proud in the winner’s enclosure at the local Dundalk Stadium on five separate occasions on the same afternoon with his crew withson Martin having driven a five timer on the all-weather, four of the five winners on that occasion coming from his Belmont base, Romeo Tricastin, Urmine De Mai, Universe Extreme, Coalford Commander and Cool Night Ayr.
