Previously IHRA staff had to manually update the IHRA database after communicating with horse owners or trainers either via email or phone. This led to a delay in tracking the vaccination status of the standardbred herd in Ireland with potential biosecurity risks. To solve this problem Equine MediRecord’s equine welfare system was linked to the IHRA database would allow trainer and horse owners to submit this information to the IHRA database in real time and allow for better bio security of the overall standardbred herd.
