MEADOWBRANCH DJ won the 2013 European Pacing Classic in superb style at York on Saturday 22nd June. Winning by 11 lengths in track record time of 2:28.8, smashing the previous record of 2:30.4 for 1¼ mile held by Saunders Trapper since October 1999. Rhyds Five Star in second was only half a second short of the track record, and Rhyds Destiny was third.
