Meadowbranch DJ laid his claim to the Inter Dominion in Australia at the back end of 2015 setting a new mile and a half track record of 3:00.8 at York Raceway by 10 length from Brywinsmagicpotion and stablemate Meadowbranch Romeo a further head for third.
The battle lines are now drawn for round two to be staged at Portmarnock on the 26th of July.
