Studbook Development DNA Parentage Verification 2025 Registrations
Irish Harness Racing Association CLG participated in the enhanced DNA parentageverification using the advanced SNP testing technology (Single NucleotidePolymorphism) with Weatherbys Scientific in 2025. A total of 84 samples wereprocessed using SNP with all samples being fully parentally verified to both Sire &Dam, improving integrity, accuracy of pedigree and traceability within the IrishHarness Racing Association Studbooks.
