The Irish Harness Racing Association is pleased to announce an allocation of funding in excess of €40,000 has been approved by the Department of Agriculture under the Equine Technical Support Scheme 2017 for Stud Book / Passport issuing Organisations.
Whilst the Department of Agriculture received applications for projects far in excess of the total budgetary allocation the IHRA are pleased that a project allocation of some €32,000 directly linked to Integrity related matters for our industry has been approved as submitted together with an allocation to cover promotional and marketing costs for our trade stand at the RDS Dublin Horse Show in August and costs associated with Conference and Breeding promotional activity being conducted in France with our partners Le Trot.
The IHRA has now started the procurement process for these projects.
